India beat Australia by 3 wickets in the final of the four-Test series in Brisbane to chase a target of 328 runs. With this, Team India has won the series 2-1. India has won the Border-Gavaskar Trophy for the third time in a row. Earlier in 2016-17, we beat Australia 2-1 at home. In 2018-19, they beat Australia 2-1 at home. India has never won 3 consecutive series in the Border Gavaskar Trophy before.
The contribution of Shubhaman Gill, Rishabh Pant and Cheteshwar Pujara in India’s victory was invaluable. Gill scored 91, Pant 89 * and Pujara 56. Following the win, BCCI secretary Jai Shah has announced a bonus of Rs 5 crore.

The fifth ball of the 33rd over hit Cheteshwar Pujara in the head. Cummins’ bouncer didn’t bounce as much as expected and hit the back of Pujara’s helmet. Australia took the review but Pujara could not collect the pavilion
