That’s why the government is going to launch an app that allows you to take advantage of any service of the central and state government through the same mobile app as you sit at home. The name of this app is Umang. Under this app, you can get information of more than 1000 services of the Center and the state government at home. Accepted news reports, it can be launched in December 2018.

Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that this would be a common app. Through this, public services will be provided to the central government, state government and local bodies. Along with this, Ravi Shankar Prasad also informed that this app will be started from the month of November with national student scholarship, women’s safety and health care.

The special thing about this app is that you will get information of more than 1,000 government schemes in front of you just by tapping 1 button. It is being told that this app will be made available in English as well as in 12 Indian languages.
