Reliance Jio is going to have a big bang in the near future. An official of Geo said on condition of anonymity that the company is considering launching a 5g smartphone below Rs 5,000, and if the phone sells more, it will be priced at Rs 2,500-3,000.

Under the scheme, the company will try to attract 20 to 30 crore mobile users currently using 2G connections. An official of the company, who did not want to be named, said, “Geo wants to keep the price of the devices below Rs 5,000. When we increase sales, it can cost Rs 2,500-3,000. ”

Reliance Jio did not respond to emails sent in this regard. Currently, 5G smartphones available in India start at Rs 27,000. Geo is the first company to offer free 4G mobile phones to users in India. Under this, Rs 1,500 was paid for the Geo phone, which could be refunded later.
