Type of license
The following types of license are issued based on the category of vehicles:
License issued for Light Motor Vehicle This type of LL includes Jeep, Auto Rickshaw and Delivery Van etc.
License issued for medium passenger vehicle This type of license includes Tempo and Minivan.
Learning licenses issued for medium goods vehicles include vehicles such as delivery trucks and tempos used for goods.
License issued for heavy passenger vehicles This type of license includes vehicles like large buses and vans.
Criteria for obtaining Driving License Online Form
A person must be above 16 years of age and have parental consent to obtain a learning license for a motor vehicle not exceeding 50cc engine capacity. A person must be above 18 years of age to obtain a learning license for a light vehicle. For a commercial vehicle Must be above 20 years of age to obtain a driving license. A person applying for a learning license must know all the traffic rules.

First visit the official website sarathi.parivahan.gov.in.
Select the option of ‘Driver/Learners License’ from the homepage.
Then select the state of Gujarat in the new page.
After selecting the state, in the new page that opens, select the option of ‘Apply For Learner License’ in the first option and click on Continue in the second page.
In the new page select your category and district and click on ‘Submit’ button.
Then enter your mobile number and click on ‘Authenticate With Sarathi’ by entering OTP.
Now fill all the required information accurately in the form that opens in the next page and click on the submit button.
