Honor 10 Lite Complete Specs Leaked Through TENAA, Reveals Kirin 710, 6.21-Inch Display, and Android 9 Pie

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor launched the Honor 10 smartphone in India, back in May 2018. The company now seems to be gearing to bring a toned-down variant for the smartphone, dubbed Honor 10 Lite. As one can understand from the name itself, the upcoming smartphone is expected to feature less powerful specs than the Honor 10. While the smartphone’s complete spec sheet is yet to be revealed, it has made an apperance on the TENAA website.

Honor 10 Lite Specifications Revealed by TENAA

TENAA has now updated the HRY-TL00, HRY-AL00, and HRY-AL00a listings with the complete specifications. The Honor 10 Lite will come with a 6.21-inch IPS LCD display featuring 1080 x 2340 Full HD+ resolution. In terms of physical size, the handset measures 154.8 x 73.64 x 7.95mm and weighs 162 grams. Powering the smartphone will be an octa-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz, coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The base variant of the smartphone will come with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. For further expansion, the Honor 10 Lite includes a microSD card slot as well.

Moving on to optics, the smartphone will have a 13MP + 2MP AI dual-camera setup at the rear and a 24MP resolution AI selfie camera on the front. Fueling the handset will be a 3320mAh capacity battery. On the software front, Honor 10 Lite will ship with the Android 9.0 Pie-based EMUI 9.0 out of the box.

The Huawei HRY-AL00 and HRY-TL00 model numbers have surfaced online yet again, this time on the TENAA website. Along with the HRY-AL00 and HRY-TL00, another variant bearing the model number HRY-AL00a has also shown up on the TENAA website. While the TENAA listings are yet to be updated with detailed specifications of the smartphone, TENAA has published images of the three variants on its website. The images make it quite clear that the HRY-AL00, HRY-TL00, and HRY-AL00a are variants of an upcoming Honor smartphone. As you can see in the images below, the smartphone will be available in a gradient finish as well. We can see a dual-camera setup on the back of the handset, with an LED flash module below the two sensors. A rear-mounted fingerprint sensor is also present at the rear.

While the identity of the smartphone has not been revealed yet, the Honor 10 Lite poster released by the company today suggests that the HRY-AL00, HRY-TL00, and HRY-AL00a are Honor 10 Lite variants.

In addition to TENAA, the HRY-AL00, HRY-AL00a, and HRY-TL00 variants of the Honor 10 Lite have been certified by the MIIT certification agency as well. Unlike the TENAA listings, the MIIT listings do not include any important information with regards to the key features or specifications of the smartphone.

Honor 10 Lite Price in India

The Honor 10 Lite price in India is expected to fall under Rs. 20,000 segment in India. As the Honor 10 price in India is Rs. 24,999, we can expect its lite variant to be launched at a lesser price as it will feature skimmed specs and features.

Honor 10 Lite Expected Specifications, Features

According to the reports that have been sprouted about the Honor 10 Lite over a period of time, we can expect the phone to come powered by Kirin 670 chipset. This SoC by Honor is based on 12nm manufacturing process and is integrated with Neural Network Processing Unit (NPU) designed for ensuring smooth functioning of AI features.

Other leaked details about the phone reveal that it may come with a 5.84-inch display bearing 2280×1080 pixels resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. The phone could come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which will be further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. In terms of optics, the phone could sport a 13MP+2MP dual camera setup at the rear alongside a 16MP front-facing camera.

On the software side, the Honor 10 Lite is expected to run Android 9.0 Pie-based EMUI 9 out-of-the-box. A 2900mAh battery is tipped to complete the package. Connectivity options on the phone should include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.2, USB Type-C, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

For now, these are the specifications that have been leaked in certifications. There is a fair chance of Honor 10 Lite debuting with an entirely different set of specs. Whatever may be the final spec sheet for this device, we can expect it to be less potent than the Honor 10. The company would anyway want the phone to have a cheaper price tag or there will be no reason for the buyers to choose it over the Honor 10.
