Rewa Under the Chief Minister Farmer’s Prosperity Scheme, the incentives will be given to the registered farmers who sell wheat and paddy at the support price of 200 rupees per quintal. The amount will be distributed by organizing the ceremony on April 16 in the entire state. This scheme will be benefited by 7 lakh 39 thousand farmers of the state.

Meanwhile, Collector Preeti Mathil told that a silo bag has been arranged in two places for the procurement of wheat in Rewa district. Wheat is being given at farmers’ support price of 21 cooperative societies. Six committees connected to the silo centers are being isolated for farmers to avoid more distance. These will now be procured wheat at the committee level. The program was attended by Commissioner Mahesh Chandra Chaudhary, Joint Commissioner RK Shukla and the concerned officials.
