Nokia X7 November 2018 Update Improves Cameras

Like many other Nokia smartphones, the X7 is now receiving the latest November 2018 security update. Apart from security fixes, the OTA update brings camera image improvements and a new Night Scene mode. The update weights just 85mb. Speaking of the improvements, the camera image quality is now optimized. The low-light or night shots will now come out to be more attractive. HMD Global has also improved the camera scene recognition feature, giving you a smarter photo experience. Lastly, the roll-out improves the system stability and fluency and overall compatibility with other applications. Even though the update weighs less, it brings some necessary changes.

In addition, many users who previously tried to update their smartphone to the latest update got themselves in a bit of a pickle. Several users ended up with the bricked Nokia X7. When the smartphone restarts to complete the updating process, the device forcefully goes to the EDL mode (Emergency Download Mode), also known as the Qualcomm 9008 mode. Unfortunately, the update for this issue has not arrived yet for the select few who might get their phones bricked. You’ll have to proceed with the latest update on your own risk.

Nokia X7 is also on the waiting list for the upcoming Android Pie update. The public beta testing has already begun, with the stable update expected to roll-out soon.
